We are a small independent Coppice Crafts business based in a beautiful 16th Century barn at Collins End on the Hardwick Estate.
Dave Jackson established the business in 1999 in Worcestershire, moving to Hardwick in 2017. We specialise in making bespoke woven garden products and rustic furniture from sustainably coppiced material, as well as offering rural craft courses and training from our purpose made outdoor classroom.
We grow and harvest some of our hazel and willow from newly established coppices on the estate, and buy the rest of our materials from the local community and businesses wherever possible.
We are committed to working with the wider coppice community, through membership of the local Chilterns and Thames Valley Coppice Group and the National Coppice Federation (NCFed). Dave is currently chair of NCFed, and was a founding director in 2008.
Through these organisations we aim to ensure the survival of traditional woodland crafts and skills as well as the associated woodland biodiversity which a well managed coppiced woodland brings.
